I think that the music industry can be changed. Like if they stopped having the prices so high on stupid plastic tapes and discs with their voices on it then people wouldn't burn discs. Then if they could find a way then they need to make their C.Ds to where you can't burn them. But really I think it's up to us to put a stop to it. Like maybe some people don't know it's illegal or maybe they don't know how much of a problem it could be to steal music or buy it illegally off the internet. If we can find a way to make people see its not ok to do it then maybe there won't be this big of a problem. maybe if this keeps up there won't be any more people willing to put their music out because they don't want it to be stolen or just sold for a lot less then they think it should be sold for. If we keep this up then sooner or later something bad might happen or a bunch of people will start going to jail over it. Think about it.... if you were a music artist and there was a bunch of people who basicaly stole your music you would be mad right? Then to make up for all your lost music you would have to start charging more money for all your C.D.s right? So that would mean that the people who don't steal the music (or if you want to say it nicely buy it extremely cheep,) well they have to pay a whole bunch more then they should all because of you. I think it's important because if we don't stop it or try to stop it now then it will probaly get worse then it already is and then we would not have that great of a chance to stop it later on. If we let it go then people will assume it doesn't really matter and they will continue to do it because noone is telling them any diffrent. Like before I came to this class for example I never did it but my cousins did it for me and I figured it was ok because everyone did it and no one told me not to. Then when I heard it was wrong and found out more reasons why I understood that it would be better to just go and buy it rather than to steal it. If we keep this up you can forget the future of music because the recording studios and performers can't stay open without money. It's up to us to stop all of this and if we don't and we just let it happen then we can't blame the people who stole because it would be just as much our fault as it would be theirs! So let me leave you with a thought..... What do you think life would be without music?

O.K. so far I've learned how not to make a powerpoint and suprisingly i've learned that these little seventh graders are just like I was! I also learned how to make HTML mad. Kidding. I found out that making a website is harder then it seems like, when I first thought about how you would make a website I figured how hard could it be? I thought you just cliked and typed and then the world is a happy place. But no it has to be hard! I had to do HTML and all that stuff and at first it was hard but then it became easier. I also figured out how to do ascii art at the begining of the year i was pretty awesome! I loved it! Like every class we have to learn how expensive the world is so we did the wish list and then things like in excel where we had to find out how much jobs and houses would cost that was fun:) I also learned things about how you could crash a computer by using all its memory and stuff and that if you just open it in another window then it will not take up as much memory as if you had them just open. I learned that if you threaten a computer with reese's pieces it will do anything! I promise I never lie! I learned that Joe is a bad projector:):

Ok OMG I think that just taking away all of the technology isn't going to solve anything. You might as well take everything away from us because you have thousands of diffrent ways to cheat. They found a way to cheat on a hat, then when you banned that an IPod. I mean come on kids aren't as stupid as they seem. Shoes, Clothes, Desks, Chairs, Walls, you can now virtually write on anything and everything. If someone wanted to cheat it would be easy, I mean all the teacher is doing is staring into space. Also IPods aren't that bad of an idea, they could actually help a kid concentrate. All the time teachers are saying that technology is bad but if they think about it they could use the IPods as a teaching tool. If they were creative and somewhat smart they would know this. On top of that by creating more rules and regulations kids will just want to rebel more and then everything will get even more out of control. If you tell a kid "dont eat a cookie or you'll get in trouble" what do we do we eat it! If a teacher tells us not to cheat and we want to then by god we will cheat! You can't stop people who want to cheat from cheating unless you put them in a little white padded room and give them stuff they've never been in contact with so that they can't write the answers on them.

Oh and Mrs.B I love that article on that guy he is rerally awesome!

way. You can use powerpoint to represent things for a buisness project but dont put distracting things because thats all that keeps the peoples attention is pictures so they dont normaly listen. Also keep things short and to the point. To make things long is boring.
Here is the a list of the TEKS I understand:
1D dilinate and make necessary adjustments regauding capability issues including,ut not limited to quality, appropriatness, effectiveness, and efficentcy.
2D develop strategies for capturing digital fileswhile conserving memory and retaining image quality.

The packets we are doing are very boring and are annoying. They give me a big headache. The reason is because I hate reading instructions it isvery boring to do that. reading instructions is like pulling teeth for me and with these packets thats all you do.

The power point we got to do was ok. It helped me to understand DTP and RGB a whole lot better.
The DTP rules are just a little wierd though. Some of them I do not agree with and they frustrate me. But we cant all have what we want and I guess thats why people wrote it, just to express oppinions.

The talk with Nate was great, I didnt know that you controlled the things you learned not teachers. I like the thought that without teachers and just knowing something is there I can learn alot. At first I didnt understand it at first because I thought you had to have teachers and people and books, but now that I have heard that, it opened my eyes and now I am more determined than ever to outsmart all my teachers and prove to them I dont necessarily need them.(not including you Mrs. B. cause w/out you i would be completely lost.

In the fall ball I think we should of had more people taking live shots. I think that the live shots turned out beter than the ones that people posed for. I think that the place we took the pictures people posed for and the way all the pictures turned out was great. I also dont think it was that grea that Jonathun should have worked the whole time. Sorry about that if I would have known I would have taken your place for a little while! But all in all I thought it was great!

This week I learned what a whitespace was and how to create fliers.I also learned that Dr. Johnson is bord with technology.

The school of the future is really cool sounding and I would love to do this. I think that that would be the way that the schools of the future would be because it just makes life easier to have computers instead of paper and pens. The only obstacle that I think a student would have with going to this school is that it would be expensive and the fact that you would have to live close to the school to even go there. The only thing wrong that would go on is there would be no need for teachers. I don’t think a doctor or a teacher would have any problem with it because they did well without the stuff we had today before so why would anything change that?

rule #1. I think we should have only one space after a period because thats how we normaly write.
rule#2. I think we should put two spaces after we end a paragraph because it is hard to see the diffrence sometimes between the paragraphs (when they start and end.)
rule#3. I completely agree I dont think that you should have a bunch of fonts because then it looks like you are a little kid playing w/the font sizes. It makes it look totally unbuisseness like.
rule#4. I agree w/this because you cant exactly tell where you have to align the text that you are writting on because text is different.
rule#5.
